WHAT DRIVES ME:

Brilliantly solving challenging problems and seizing opportunities.  I am fascinated by understanding the points of fusion between strategy and action, data and creativity, knowing what defines greatness and how these things define greatness because the bar is ever changing.  I believe the one true constant in business is constant change.  I truly love building deep relationships with dynamic, hard-charging, exceptional people who challenge my thinking every day.  I believe intellectual vitality is the key to a great career and giving the very best within yourself, intellectually, professionally and personally is the secret to a happy life.  What also drives me is thinking about the “next-next.”  As the Great One, hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, said, “I like to skate where I think the puck is going.”

 

WHAT ARE MY HIDDEN TALENTS:

I have an innate marketing sense.  I also have a photographic memory and can distill, recollect, and connect an enormous amount of data.

WHAT'S NEXT:

Winning the next ballroom competition in American Rhythm.  Collaborating with industry leaders to deliver an actionable, repeatable plan to make Financial Services an attractive, desirable career to millennials, minorities and women.  Increasing the number of scholarships we give to incredibly talented, driven, college bound, young women from my (very small) hometown.

WHAT I CONTRIBUTE:

Since 2007, I have been afforded the opportunity to expand my contributions to the firm in new and unique endeavors over the years.  While I assist Cecile in optimizing her time in any way I can, that’s just a small part of my average day.  From the front office to the back I feverishly sweat the small stuff surrounding scheduling, research, and a multitude of tasks.  And as a long-term fixture in our home office, I am also the go-to person for the firm staff for every day issues that arise. 

 

WHAT DRIVES ME:

My innate sense of urgency.  As I help to keep the trains running for the firm (both internally and externally) I harness it often!

 

WHAT ARE MY HIDDEN TALENTS:

Playing billiards.  I have actually been called a “pool shark” a time or two.

WHAT'S NEXT:

Looking forward to brighter times with friends and family with an increased understanding and awareness of everyone’s unique journey to this moment in time.

A terrible sense of direction in my own country but a strange ability to get around without a problem in a foreign country.  I can’t explain it.  And, for whatever reason, I always win at Whack-A-Mole.  I own that game!

WHAT'S NEXT:

I think that’s what we are all asking ourselves right now.  What now, what next?  For me personally, it is to continue what this pandemic has awakened in my life.  To not lose sight of the deeper contact and connection this has created with those who I care about, in my personal and professional life.  Both of which, thankfully, benefit from and compliment each other.  People, Planet, Purpose, Prioritize.

My curiosity drives me for the most part.  I have always had a curious nature which has led me to find answers or explanations or have a better understanding.  I believe the knowledge you gain from natural curiosity is more deeply learned.  And knowledge is power.

Gratefully, I have uncovered many hidden talents over my lifetime and realize discovering them is a function of many things--some things you control, others you don't, and will things just reveal themselves in their due time as you shed your layers shed and grow new ones.
